There is always plenty for students at Bon Accord to do, both on Sundays and through the week. If you want to find out more just come along to the next event, dates are at the bottom of this page.

Free Church Youth Association (FCYA)
Don’t be fooled by the name, FCYA is all about having fun together as a group of young folk. It's for secondary 5-6 pupils, students, young workers, or anybody who is aged between 16 and 25. We meet every Saturday night to have a variety of social events, including weekends away, pizza pursuits, games nights, sports nights, bowling, hill-walks, and many other things. About 15- 20 young people usually go along. For more information contact any of the comittee members.
Youth Fellowship
Our YF meets every 2 weeks (alternating with the After Church Fellowship) on a Sunday night, after the evening service. This is a time of praise, Bible discussion and fellowship. The YF has looked at themes such as Proverbs, Characters in Judges, "Christian unity through theological differences" and The fruit of The Spirit over the past few years with various speakers, as well as our own young people speaking themselves. We are currently looking at "The pursuit of Holiness" from September to December 2010. You will find the dates of YF meetings on the iCalendar as well as at the bottom of this page. For more information contact any of the comittee members.
Our memory verses for 2010 are all available here.
Student Hospitality
No need to hang around looking hungry anymore. No need for subtle hints like "halls' food is really bad". There’s student hospitality where the people in the congregation often invite students out for Sunday lunch- a great way to get to know students, and for students to get to know others. The current record of consecutive Sunday lunches is 1½ years! Contact Catherine MacKaskill for more details. Hospitality Parents can now sign up online here so we can assign you some students for next year.
4:12' Groups
These groups link up a couple of students with a non-student. Not only is this an excellent way to get to know some of the older folk in church, but it's also an excellent opportunity to share in the christian life with someone older. There is no set format for the groups, the just take on the role that most suits the individuals involved. Contact Murdo Murchison for more details. To sign up click here.
