Bon Accord Bulletin 15th August 2021



Services, for those not attending the church in person, can be found by logging in to the Bon Accord Free Church web site, and then clicking “sermons” followed by “live sermons” or by logging on Both morning and evening services will be live streamed.


The services this weekend will be conducted by Rev. Robin Gray, minister Gardenstown New Church. Next weekend the services will be conducted by Rev. Iver Martin, interim moderator.


Neighbourhood fellowships will take place this week. Joining details are sent out by the group leaders during the week.

These meetings all take place using Zoom.



Sunday evening prayer meeting:

The prayer meeting, which is held on a Sunday evening at 5.30pm, has started again in the church building. If possible, please enter by the back door. All are welcome.


Ordination and Induction:

The ordination and induction of Rev. Joe Hall is scheduled to take place on 28 August 2021 at 2pm in Bon Accord. After the service in Bon Accord we will go to Kings Community church, which is the old AECC building in Bridge of Don, for the tea and the less formal part of the induction.


Crèche and Activities for children:

Over the summer there will be creche and activities for children under 7 downstairs in the hall during the morning service. Sunday school will start again from next weekend.


Aberdeen Street Pastors:

Aberdeen Street Pastors are recruiting again and training commences on Saturday 21 August.

Final total for WfM 2020/21 projects:

The final total raised was £31,553. The Leprosy Mission in India, Scripture Union - Scotland and Moldova Support Group were all given £8,500 each. The WFM Disaster Relief Fund received £6,053.  Thank you to everyone who contributed.

The WfM Conference will be held via YouTube on Saturday 18 September at 11am. Further details will be available shortly

The CLC bookshop is now based at Equip, Aberdeen Christian Resource Centre Kingsway, Bridge of Don, AB238BL, 01224 641620. This is where Kings Community Church is based (the old AECC premises)
