Bon Accord Bulletin 29th August 2021



Services, for those not attending the church in person, can be found by logging in to the Bon Accord Free Church web site, and then clicking “sermons” followed by “live sermons” or by logging on Both morning and evening services will be live streamed.



The services this weekend will be conducted by Rev. Joe Hall. We are delighted that Joe was ordained and inducted to Bon Accord yesterday. We warmly welcome him to Bon Accord and look forward to his ministry among us.


There will be neighbourhood fellowships this week. Joining details will be sent out by group leaders during the week

Activities during the week:

We are recommencing many of our regular activities in person. See below for details. If further details are required for any activity please message the web-site


Crèche and Sunday School:

Creche and Sunday school will both run downstairs during the morning service.


Sunday evening prayer meeting:

The prayer meeting, which is held on a Sunday evening at 5.30pm, has started again in the church building. If possible, please enter by the back door. All are welcome.


Ladies Bible Study:

Ladies Bible study will be held every two weeks in the church building. This will start this Wednesday at 10.00am meeting in the foyer. Please ring the bell at the back door for entry or knock on the front door to avoid climbing the stairs. All ladies are welcome


Guys Bible Study:

Guys Bible study meets on a Thursday evening at 8.00pm. Please ring the bell at the back door for entry.


Activities for Teens:

Bible class will take place this Sunday. Please leave the church at the same time as Sunday School. On Friday 3 September the teens will meet for a video games night  from 7.30pm – 9.30pm.


Little Lambs (BA mother and toddlers’ group):

Little Lambs is going to open the doors to mothers and their little ones once again on Friday 27 August. We start at 9.30am and finish at 11.30am. The start time is flexible and entry is by the downstairs door. During this time we have play and crafts, snack for both children and adults and a time of singing.


Sole Mates:

The next walk will take place on Monday 13 September. We will meet at Johnston Gardens at 1.30pm. The walk takes around an hour and is followed by a cuppa.


WFM Conference:

This will be held on Saturday18 September. Unfortunately, this year we are unable to be in Inverness as planned, but we are going to meet in the large hall to watch the conference!

Come along to the church at 10.30am and enjoy tea/coffee and baking. We will then join via YouTube to listen to the conference.
