Christianity Explored E-mail

As part of our mission to reach out into the community we run a Christianity Explored course. The course has proved to be a real benefit to all who have attended.

What is Christianity Explored?

  • You don’t need to know anything about the Bible

  • You won’t be asked to read aloud, pray or sing

  • You may ask any question you want

Further information about the course can be found on the Christianity Explored website www.christianityexplored.com.

ImageIt is a ten-week course designed to answer the question ‘What is Christianity?’. In a contemporary and open manner the course works through the Gospel of Mark to find out what Christianity really is all about. The course is designed for those who know little about Christianity but it is also beneficial for Christians, especially those who are starting out on the life of following Jesus. It is also interactive, where group leaders invite small groups to work through set questions, as well as looking at other questions that people attending may have.

The most recent course ran for 8 weeks starting in October 2007. Details of the next time we are running a course will be published here, in the meantime you can contact Jonathan Cook who co-ordinates the Christianity Explored courses.

“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
