Camp Leaders - Disclosure Checks

"I have been asked by the Compliance Audit and Risk Management Committee to write to all congregations in relation to disclosure checks for leaders and other helpers at our youth camps.  In the past, some camps have been left in difficulty because disclosure applications have been made too late for the certificates to be issued prior to the camp.  Therefore, the Committee would be grateful if Deacons' Courts' could encourage any people who are considering helping at a camp, but who do not already have an enhanced disclosure, to apply for this early in the New Year.  This does not imply any formal commitment from them to attend a camp but ensures that, should they decide to assist, there will be no impediment to them doing so."  Rod Morrison, Chief Administration Officer Bon Accord's Child Protection Officers are Margaret Ferguson and Catriona Macleod.  Please contact them if this applies to you. < Prev   Next >
